Rob's Trail Fest was a day of trail races near Canadice and Hemlock lakes in Hemlock, New York. The event offered multiple distances on routes that combine single track, gravel roads, and short paved sections. Organizers noted fall foliage as a feature of the area.
Distances included:
- Marathon: two technical climbs (~800 ft each); 50% single track, 40% gravel, 10% paved.
- 15K: out and back on gravel and single track; muddy sections expected.
- 5K: point to point; steep 0.5 mile downhill on technical single track then gravel finish.
Start and finish locations were centered at 6814-6894 Canadice Lake Rd, Springwater, NY 14560, at the south end of Canadice Lake. The 5K started at Robs Nature Preserve on Old Bald Hill Rd S and finished at the south end of Canadice Lake. Packet pick up and race check in took place at the Canadice Lake address.
Parking was limited on nearby private property and car camping was available by prior arrangement. Routes were subject to minor changes due to trail conditions. Event proceeds were designated for trail maintenance on Robs trail and for local trail projects. The event policy stated there were no refunds or transfers.
