Rob's Trail Fest : Hemlock area, October 2026
Rob's Trail Fest is a series of trail races held in October 2026 near Hemlock, New York, using trails around Canadice Lake and Hemlock Lake. The event offers multiple distances and uses a mix of single track, gravel and some paved sections.

Course details include substantial single track sections and technical terrain. The full marathon route is described as having two major climbs of about 800 feet each, with roughly 50% single track, 40% gravel and 10% paved surfaces. The marathon route passes along the west side of Hemlock Lake including a short cobble beach section. The 15K follows an out and back pattern on gravel roads and trails and may be muddy in places. The 5K is point to point from Rob's Trail Canadice trailhead down a steep technical single track section that reaches about 17% grade for 0.5 miles, then finishes on flatter gravel.
Logistics note that packet pick up and the main start/finish use the south end of Canadice Lake at 6814-6894 Canadice Lake Rd, Springwater, NY. The 5K starts near Old Bald Hill Rd S at Robs Nature Preserve. Parking is limited and limited car camping on private property may be available by prior arrangement. Entry fees are listed in the event information and the event has a no refunds or transfers policy.
