Rob's Trail Fest, Hemlock NY
Rob's Trail Fest is a day of trail races held in October near Canadice Lake in Hemlock, NY. The event offers multiple distances on routes that use single track, gravel roads, and short paved sections. Packet pick up and check in take place at 6814-6894 Canadice Lake Rd, South end of Canadice Lake.
Distances
- Marathon: full trail distance with two technical climbs of about 800 ft each
- 15K: out-and-back route along gravel and single track with muddy sections possible
- 5K: point-to-point trail route starting at Rob's Trail Canadice trailhead
Route details mention a mix of surfaces for the marathon: about 50% single track, 40% gravel, and 10% paved. The 5K includes a steep technical descent on single track of roughly 0.5 miles at a 17 percent grade, followed by flatter gravel toward the finish. The 15K follows gravel road sections and a loop with potentially muddy terrain.
