The Oak Tree Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Geneseo, NY. The race is held annually on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The event base is listed at 4050 Avon Road, Geneseo, NY 14454. The organizers state that 100% of race proceeds support local conservation work in the Genesee River watershed through the Genesee Valley Conservancy. The conservancy’s efforts include protecting habitat, open space and farmland and providing nature preserves with free hiking access.

The Oak Tree 5K will serve as the 2026 USATF Niagara Open and Masters 5km Championships and will be part of the 2026 USATF Niagara Runner Of The Year Series and Team Grand Prix Series.
