Ontario Summit Trail Races - September 12, 2026

The Ontario Summit Trail Races take place at Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill in Naples, NY. The event is organized around two trail options and course routes are being revised, with final course details still to be determined.

  • Short course
  • Long course

Race headquarters is at Wilson Lodge. Parking next to the lodge is reserved for staff and volunteers; event parking is arranged around the lodges, baseball field, and pavilions with volunteers directing traffic. Participants should not park on the race course or on the main park road, and the main park road operates one way counter-clockwise.

The weekend includes on site camping near the lodges and Friday evening social activities. A short list of nearby restaurants named by organizers includes Brew and Brats, Roots Cafe, Naples Wood Fired Pizza, and Birdhouse Brewing. Breakfast on race morning will include fruit, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and baked goods from Plenty the Bakery. Post race offerings include hand made burritos from R's Market, beer from Peacemaker Brewing, a selection of fruit and snacks, and athlete support from In Motion Physical Therapy FLX at the finish.

Giveaways include a long sleeve cotton blend shirt and a logo pint glass. Awards are planned for overall female and male finishers on each course and a random set of participants. The event maintains a single price with no increases and allows transfers, distance switching, deferrals, and refunds without fees under the stated deadlines. The Race Director may disqualify participants for abusive behavior, trail damage, receiving aid outside designated areas, pacing from non participants, or course cutting.
