Event Overview
The Robinson Preserve Twilight 5K & 10K is the 18th annual family-friendly running event. It takes place at Robinson Preserve on 99th Street Northwest in Bradenton, Florida.
Distances and Activities
Participants can choose from several timed and untimed activities:
- 5K Run/Walk (Timed)
- 10K Run/Walk (Timed)
- Kids Dash (12 & Under) with age-bracketed sprints.
- Virtual 5K (Untimed)
- Virtual 10K (Untimed)
All timed participants receive a chip-timed race bib. All participants (including virtual) receive a commemorative shirt and a finisher's medal. A post-race party includes complimentary food and beverages.
Fundraising and Awards
The event supports The Big Bill Foundation, which provides scholarships to students who have battled or are currently battling childhood cancer. The foundation has awarded over $75,000 in scholarships.
Age group awards are given for both the 5K and 10K races, with categories ranging from 12 & Under to 80+. Overall and masters winners are also recognized. Awards must be picked up on race day.
Logistics and Policies
Packet pickup is available on race day. The event allows dogs and strollers, though those using them must start at the back of the corral. Shirt sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event has a weather cancellation policy and a registration cancellation policy with specific terms.
