The Robert Tucker Run 5K is a commemorative run/walk event in Kannapolis, NC. It celebrates the legacy of Robert Tucker, the founder of SHOE SHOW, INC., and his passion for running. The event date is Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Registration and Logistics

Packet pickup is available at Half-Moon Outfitters on West Avenue in Kannapolis on the day before and the morning of the event. Participants who register by March 30, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt in their requested size.

Every participant receives a medal upon completing the run/walk. Awards are given to the overall male and female winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) and to male and female winners in several age groups.

The event is part of the Run Kannapolis Series. Registering for all eight races in the series provides a 20% discount on the total registration price. The event has a no-refund policy, but transfers are possible. Registration for the 5K has tiered pricing, with the lowest price available until March 19, 2026.
