ROAR FLORIDA 5K Color Run
The ROAR FLORIDA 5K is a chip-timed road race held at the Sun ‘n Fun Expo Campus at Lakeland Linder International Airport in Lakeland, Florida, on 26 September 2026. The course runs through the active grounds of the aviation expo, passing aircraft displays, aviation infrastructure, and open runway and tarmac sections.
The event is a color run, with bursts of color along the course; participants often wear colorful clothing. The course is described as flat and fast, and it accommodates competitive runners as well as walkers and recreational participants. Participants may race for time or take part for the experience.
Awards include overall recognition for the top three male and top three female finishers. Age group awards are given to first-place male and female in each category: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The fastest male and female in each age category receive an award; overall finishers are excluded from age category awards.
Shirts and sizes are guaranteed for those pre-registered before 1 September 2026; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Advance packet pickup is available Friday, 25 September 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Sun ‘n Fun Expo Campus, 3875 W Pipkin Road, Lakeland, FL 33811.
