Roade Sprint Triathlon - 25 April 2027
Roade Sprint Triathlon is a community triathlon event held at Elizabeth Woodville School in Roade, Northamptonshire. The event offers multiple race formats over short distances, with swim, bike and run legs that use a 23 m pool, local roads through Northamptonshire countryside and a flat out-and-back running course finishing with a lap of the school field.
Race options include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 414m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Aquabike: 414m swim, 20km bike
- Taster Tri: 207m swim, 10km bike, 2.5km run
- Team Relays: 414m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
Participants must be at least 15 years old by 31 December; 14 year olds may compete if their next birthday falls before the end of the year. Parents or guardians of competitors under 16 must be present at registration to provide signed permission.
Registration occurs at the school fields the day before and on race day in the morning, where race packs are issued. Entries on the day are permitted. A downloadable race instructions booklet provides briefing, routes, layouts and other race-day information. Live race timing is provided and results are available through the event timing service.
