Roade Sprint Triathlon
The Roade Sprint Triathlon is a short multisport event held at Elizabeth Woodville School in Roade, Northamptonshire. The competition includes pool swimming, a road bike course through local villages including Roade and Stoke Bruerne, and a flat out-and-back run finishing with a lap of the school field.
Event formats and distances:
- SPRINT Triathlon: 414 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- AQUABIKE: 414 m swim, 20 km bike
- TASTER TRI: 207 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- TEAM RELAYS: 414 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
Swimming starts in a 23 m pool. The bike course features gentle undulations through Northamptonshire countryside. The run is described as flat and fast with an out-and-back layout and a finishing lap on the school field.
Participants must be at least 15 years old by 31 December; 14 year olds may take part if their next birthday is before year end. Parents or guardians of entrants under 16 must be present at registration to provide permission. Registration is scheduled both the day before and on race day where competitors receive race packs.
Live timing is provided via ResultsBase and photographers are positioned around the course with images made available after the event. Coaching services are offered by enDuRo team, including tailored 1:1 coaching and an initial two-week free period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
