RMRR Trophy Series August 5k and picnic
The Rocky Mountain Road Runners (RMRR) hosts a 5k race on the Highline Canal around DeKoevend Park in Centennial on August 7, 2026. The course runs on crusher and fine dirt and starts from the pavilion behind the Goodson Recreation Center. The event uses a mass start rather than the club's usual handicap start; handicaps will be calculated in post-race scoring.
Registration is open for the event with a stated fee of $10. Registration opens on December 29, 2025 and closes on August 6, 2026. Parking is available at the Goodson Recreation Center lot; participants are advised to park toward the far west end of the lot.
A potluck barbecue follows the race. RMRR provides grillables and nonalcoholic drinks. Participants are asked to bring a salad, side dish, or dessert to share. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
