Summer Sizzler - Denver
The Summer Sizzler in Denver takes place on August 7, 2027, in Denver, CO 80202. The event offers a range of timed and untimed running options, in-person and virtual formats, event shirts, bibs, and finisher medals.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash: 50 m, for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile: untimed one mile
- 5K: 3.1 miles, chip-timed with live results and awards
- 10K: 6.2 miles, chip-timed with live results and awards
- 15K: chip-timed with live results and awards
- Virtual Race: run any day at any location
- Volunteer and Run: volunteer before packet pickup, then run any distance
Registration for most in-person distances includes a custom bib, designer or super soft shirt, and a finisher medal. Youth pricing applies for the 5K and 10K (12 and under priced at $17). The kids dash registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a custom kids' medal; children may participate in the kids dash without receiving swag at no charge.
The virtual option includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping of the packet; packets are mailed the Wednesday after the event and participants can upload times and photos starting the event day. There are free photos, food and shaved ice at the finish, and team registration refunds when teams reach size thresholds: $5 refunded at four members and an additional $5 refunded at ten members for a total of $10.
