Gisburn Forest Trail Race 10K / HM
Pendle Trail Running Club hosts trail races at Gisburn Forest Hub in Slaidburn, Lancashire. The event offers two waymarked trail distances on routes normally used by hikers and mountain bikers, with woodland scenery and varied terrain.
Available race distances:
- 10 km with approximately 666 ft elevation gain
- Half marathon 13.1 miles with approximately 1400 ft elevation gain
Entries open and close on set dates. Entrants must be 18 or older. Entry fees differ for UKA members and non members for each distance, and optional race t-shirts are available to pre order for £19. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and operates in accordance with England Athletics rules.
Race entry includes a race memento and goodies, professional race photography, a fully flagged and marshalled course, professional chip timing, on site refreshments including hot and cold food and drinks, and professional event safety cover with first aid.
