Course

The Riverlands 100 is Maine's first and only 100-mile trail race. It takes place at the Androscoggin Riverlands State Park in Turner, Maine. The course consists of four laps of a 25-mile out-and-back trail.

The terrain is just over half ATV trail, featuring river views, dense forest, and varied surfaces including rocks, roots, and mud. The remainder is single-track trail. The race is described as difficult, with no long stretches where runners can relax.

Aid and Logistics

Aid stations are located at each end of the out-and-back section and another near the middle. Drop bags may be left at each aid station.

There is also a relay division with five-person teams. Each relay runner completes a 20-mile section, which is 80% ATV trail and 20% single track.

The event has a 32-hour cutoff time.

Additional Information

A pasta dinner is offered to all runners before the race, and a post-race brunch is provided. Additional meals for crew or pacers can be purchased. Both meals are held at Martin Stream Campground, which is also the packet pickup location.

The 2026 event is announced as the final edition of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
