NYSUT Runs WNY at Bella Rose Winery
This event is a 5K trail race held at Bella Rose Winery in Lewiston, New York on October 24, 2026. The course runs through vineyards and winery trails and offers views of the Lewiston escarpment. One water station is located near the midpoint of the route, and bottled water is provided to participants at the finish. Professional electronic RFID timing and live results will be provided by a race timing service, with results accessible after finishing.
A non-running option includes a winery tour and vineyard walk with a facility tour and an explanation of the winemaking process. Packet pickup and race day registration occur at the winery on race day. Online registration remains open until race day. Registration fees are listed as $15 and $20 for race day. The first 50 registrants receive a complimentary stemless wine glass and a pour of wine. Optional race shirts are available for purchase through October 8, 2026, with ordered items delivered to the race for pickup.
After the race there will be music, finish-line announcements, light snacks, and food and drink specials for purchase; participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and a DJ will play themed music and selections from the 90s and 2000s. Parking is available at the winery, with overflow on the grass.
