River City Run/Walk 5K
The River City Run/Walk is an annual 5K event organized by River City Ministry. The event includes options for running, walking, and a "Spirit Runner" category. It brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters to help expand services for neighbors experiencing homelessness, hunger, and crisis in Central Arkansas.

Online registration is open and will close Thursday evening, August 27. In-person registration is available at packet pickup and on race day at the Burns Park Soccer Complex registration table near the finish line. Packet pickup is offered Friday, August 28 at Rock City Running, 11121 N Rodney Parham Rd, Ste. 37B, Little Rock.
The event began 20 years ago when a volunteer organized a 5K to raise funds for a social worker position. All proceeds support River City Ministry programs that provide food, housing, and medical, dental, vision, and spiritual care for people who are homeless, marginalized, uninsured, or underinsured in Central Arkansas.
