Event Overview
The Risley Run and Wildcat Walk is a community event organized by Risley Middle School. This is its second annual edition. Proceeds from the event support the school's student organizations and athletic teams. It is hosted by the school's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter.
Distances and Events
Participants can choose between two options:
- Risley Run and Wildcat Walk 5k: A 5 km running event.
- Fun Run and Walk: A non-competitive walking or running event.
Course and Location
Both events start and finish in front of Risley Middle School at 707 S. Port Parkway in Brunswick, Georgia. The 5k route winds through neighborhoods along South Port Parkway.
Participant Information
Participants in the 5k event will receive a t-shirt, with a guaranteed deadline of April 21st. The event uses chip timing, and results are posted after the race. An awards ceremony is held following the events.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 1st at the school and also on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
