About the race
The Endurance Journey Rise & Tri is a community triathlon scheduled for August 16, 2026, at Wascana Park. The swim takes place at the Wascana Park Pool and the bike and run use roads and trails around the park near the pool. Events include adult Sprint and Try-a-Tri distances, relay entries, and a Kids of Steel program with age-group distances.
Race options
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 18.9 km bike, 5 km run
- Try-a-Tri: 350 m swim, bike route around Wascana Park, 2.5 km run
Relays of two to three persons are permitted for both Sprint and Try-a-Tri. Adult competitors must be at least 16 years old as of December 31, 2026.
Entry fees are listed as $75 for adults, $15 for Kids of Steel, and $125 for relays. Participants must hold valid Saskatchewan Triathlon and Regina Multisport Club (RMC) memberships; a single-day race membership is available for an additional $20. RMC membership fees are noted as $20 for adults and $5 for children or youth. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The Kids of Steel program defines swim, bike, and run distances by age group, from short pool swims and 1.0 km bike rides for the youngest to longer swims and up to 8.0 km bike rides for older youth.
