Galveston Ultra Trail
The Galveston Ultra Trail takes place on Galveston Island in Texas with races and walks along open beachfront and the Gulf shoreline on October 17, 2026. The event finishes at East Beach with a finish line festival featuring live music, food trucks, event shirts, and Texas-size finisher medals.
The full point-to-point 50K follows the length of the island along miles of hard-packed sand and includes a one-way shuttle to the start. A gear drop at the start is transported to the finish. Relay teams of 2 to 5 share the same course in approximately 10K exchange segments and should plan for a team vehicle to reach exchange points. Fully stocked aid stations provide water, electrolytes, and snacks along the course with volunteer support. Parking at East Beach requires a $15 venue pass per vehicle through the City of Galveston parking system.

- 50K and 50K Relay have a 9-hour cutoff.
- Half Marathon has an 8.5-hour cutoff.
