Rise in the Pines
Rise in the Pines is a trail running event held on July 11, 2026, at Rocky Hill Ranch, 578 FM 153, Smithville, TX 78957. The event uses a 10k loop course through pine forest that includes small hills, single track trails, and some shaded sections. Longer distances are run as multiple laps of the 10k loop.
Distances contested:
- 200K (20 laps)
- 100M (16 laps)
- 100K (10 laps)
- 50K (5 laps)
- 30K (3 laps)
- 10K (1 lap)
- 100M Relay five person teams
- 100K Relay five person teams
The field is limited to a maximum of 500 runners. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and again at the start/finish area on race day. Aid stations are provided along the course and the event uses chip timing. Registered participants receive a custom medal, a choice of event swag, and race photos.
