Cowboy YETI Trail Run : Bastrop State Park
The Cowboy YETI Trail Run is scheduled for January 23, 2027 at Bastrop State Park. The event uses the Lost Pines Trail and runs on dirt and rocky single track trails. The course is hilly, with about 800 feet of elevation gain per 20K loop. The start/finish is at the park refectory, 100 Park Road 1A, Bastrop, TX 78602. Historic average temperatures range from 40 to 62 degrees.

Aid and support details include a Yukon aid station (mile 4.4 and 9.4) with no parking or drop bags, and a main aid station at mile 12.5 at the start/finish. Aid stations provide hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice and ice. No drop bags will be shipped because of the short loop size.
Gear and rules note that this is a no-cup race and participants must carry a water-carrying system (16-ounce minimum except for the 7K). Ruck entries require a 25 pound minimum carried weight. The 100K requires a headlamp for dark hours and an emergency blanket; pacers are allowed only for the 100K on the last two loops. Participants must carry a phone at all times. Spectators should use Mayfest Park and the event shuttle to access the start area; 100K crew and preapproved entries have separate park access. The race is part of the Texas Legends Series.
