Cowboy YETI - Bastrop State Park
The Cowboy YETI is a trail event held at Bastrop State Park in Bastrop, Texas. The event uses a 20K loop of dirt and rocky single-track trails that begin and end at the State Park Refectory (100 Park Road 1A, Bastrop, TX 78602). The route is hilly, showing about 800 feet of elevation change every 20K loop.
Distances offered:
- 100K
- 60K
- 40K
- 20K
- 20K RUCK
- 7K
Logistics note: most distances park at Mayfest Park and are shuttled to the start; the 100K uses parking at the Refectory. Packet pickup is available at the State Park Refectory on the days before and on race weekend. The event does not provide disposable cups, so participants should bring their own water-carrying system. Pacers are allowed on the final two loops of the 100K, with no more than one pacer per participant.
This race is part of the Texas Legends Series. Completing two of three races in the series awards collectible medals and an engraved wood slab; completing all three awards an additional medal, wood slab, and a jacket. Entry pricing follows early, standard, and late registration windows, and registration closes on Fri, Jan 22 at 11:59 PM CT.
Race provisions include aid stations with food and hydration, course marking and support, photography, and volunteer staff. Awards and gear vary by distance and include finisher medals, buckles, a longsleeve shirt, and course-specific prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
