Rise and Shine 5K Run/Walk : Meadow Ridge Metro Park
The Rise and Shine 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 4, 2026, at Meadow Ridge Metro Park - South Entrance in Middletown, OH. The event is organized as a fundraiser and combines a community run with faith-based elements.

The program is built around a Christian emphasis: the day before Easter was chosen to honor Christ, the gathering will begin and end with prayer, and a biblical message on the resurrected Jesus will be offered for those who desire it. The race description notes a symbolic meal intended to recall the Last Supper and a small boat labeled Peter’s boat that will hold drinks.
Following the 5K there will be food, drinks and music, plus tables with information about sponsors, the church and its ministries. A large box will be available to collect nonperishable donations for the Hope House Ministry. A course map is provided as a PDF.
