Ring the Springs is a trail running event held at Rock Ledge Ranch in Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs. The courses combine city streets, park trails, North Cheyenne Cañon and sections of the Pike National Forest, with finishes back at Rock Ledge Ranch. Parking is available in the large dirt and grass lot at Rock Ledge Ranch.
The 100K course covers about 64 miles with roughly 11,065 feet of elevation gain and a 22-hour time limit, reaching alpine terrain near Mount Rosa at about 11,488 feet. The route uses the Midland Trail and includes multiple aid stations; drop bags are allowed at Rosemont and Captain Jack. Crews may access selected aid stations and pacers are permitted at specific points for the 100K.
The 50K is a 32.3 mile loop with a 12-hour limit and about 5,115 feet of climbing, reaching roughly 9,083 feet. The route features steep climbs, technical descents and a mix of dirt trails and some pavement. Crews are welcome at the finish and drop bags may be left at the finish line. Pacers are not allowed for the 50K.
The 35K is approximately 21.5 miles with a 10-hour limit and about 3,388 feet of gain. It starts and finishes at Rock Ledge Ranch, includes initial city street miles, and follows canyon and forest trails. Live split tracking and multiple aid stations are provided.
