Ring the Springs

Ring the Springs is a trail running event held at Rock Ledge Ranch in Garden of The Gods, Colorado Springs. The event fields multiple distances on routes that use city parks, local trails, and sections of the Pike National Forest.

The event offers the following distances:

  • 100K about 64 miles, roughly 11,000 feet elevation gain
  • 50K about 32 miles, roughly 5,100 feet elevation gain
  • 35K about 21.5 miles, roughly 3,388 feet elevation gain

Courses start and finish at Rock Ledge Ranch and pass through Midland Trail, North Cheyenne Cañon, Bear Creek Regional Park, and trails in the Pike National Forest. The 100K route reaches alpine elevations near 11,480 feet and includes long climbing sections and technical descents. The 50K and 35K courses combine dirt trails with some pavement and finish at Garden of The Gods.

Logistics vary by distance. The 100K includes multiple staffed aid stations, two permitted drop bag locations, limited crew access at specific aid stations, and allowance for pacers at designated points. The 50K and 35K also have aid stations, finish line drop bag options, and crew access at the finish; pacers are not permitted for those distances. Ample parking is available at Rock Ledge Ranch.
