Ring the Springs
Ring the Springs is a trail running event in Colorado Springs that starts and finishes at Rock Ledge Ranch in Garden of the Gods. The event offers three published distances:
- 100K (64 miles) with a 22 hour time limit.
- 50K (32.3 miles) with a 12 hour time limit.
- 35K (21.5 miles) with a 10 hour time limit.
The 100K course includes about 11,065 feet of total elevation gain and reaches elevations above 11,400 feet, with key climbs such as Mount Rosa and mixed terrain that includes singletrack and historic trails. Aid stations and designated drop bag locations are listed for the 100K, including Rosemont and Captain Jack, and crew access is permitted at specific aid stations with limited parking.
The 50K route is a loop that travels through North Cheyenne Cañon and trails within Pike National Forest, combining steep climbs, technical descents, dirt trails, and some pavement. The 35K route uses city streets early on before moving into canyon and forest trails and finishes at Rock Ledge Ranch. Parking is available in the large dirt and grass lot at Rock Ledge Ranch. Course maps, aid station details, crew and pacer rules, and cutoff information are provided for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
