Ring the Springs : Colorado Springs, June 20, 2026
Ring the Springs is a trail race hosted at Rock Ledge Ranch in Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO (3105 Gateway Road). The event offers multiple trail distances that use local trails and parks including North Cheyenne Cañon, Bear Creek Regional Park, and sections of the Pike National Forest. Registration closes June 15 and the event has published entrant limits and fees for each distance.
Distances and course details
- 100K - 64 miles, ~11,065 ft total elevation gain, max elevation about 11,476 ft, 22-hour limit. The route follows Midland Trail, ascends Mount Rosa, and returns via the Columbine Trail to Rock Ledge Ranch.
- 50K - 32.3 miles, ~5,115 ft total elevation gain, max elevation about 9,083 ft, 12-hour limit. The loop runs through North Cheyenne Cañon and Pike National Forest, finishing at Garden of the Gods.
- 35K - 21.5 miles, ~3,388 ft total elevation gain, max elevation about 7,873 ft, 10-hour limit. The course includes city streets, park trails, and finishes at Rock Ledge Ranch.

Logistics and support
Aid stations, drop-bag locations, and crew/pacer rules differ by distance. For the 100K, crews may access Captain Jack and Old Stage (limited parking); pacers are allowed starting at Old Stage or Captain Jack II; drop bags allowed at Rosemont and Captain Jack. The 50K and 35K allow finish-area drop bags and have crew access at the finish. Ample parking is available at Rock Ledge Ranch. Cutoffs are in place at key aid stations and on course.
