Right Moves For Youth Twilight 5K Road Race & Walk
The event is an evening road race and kids fun run held at First Ward Park on April 24, 2026 in Charlotte, NC. The main race is a 5K course of 3.1 miles that begins at First Ward Park, travels toward the Elizabeth area, and returns along 7th Street with views of uptown.

This is the 29th Annual Twilight 5K and is part of Right Moves For Youth’s fundraising activities during the organization’s 35th anniversary year. Right Moves For Youth is a school-based program serving students in grades 6 to 12; it reaches about 1,000 students each year across 19 middle and high school sites and online groups. The event supports RMFY services for educational attainment, social and emotional well being, career development, and leadership.
Each participant receives a race shirt and a medal; shirt and medal sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration categories include youth and adult options, a phantom runner option, and a fundraise only option. Registration is nonrefundable.
