Richard's Run For Life returns to Ybor City Centennial Park on Nov 6, 2026. The event includes an evening 5K, a one block walk and a park party held in the historic district streets.

The 5K and One Block Walk support Tampa General Hospital’s Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program. That program provides specialized cancer care for patients aged 15-39 and aims to address medical, emotional, social and financial needs while supporting transitions between care settings.
Registration opens June 19, 2026 and closes November 5, 2026. Listed registration fees are $50 for the 5K, $40 for the One Block Walk and $35 for the park party entry. Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled on November 4 and November 5 at the Columbia Museum, 2029 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, FL 33605.
The signature run paused in 2024 and in 2025 the event supported Miles For Moffitt through a race team. Returning to Ybor City in 2026 also brings food and beverage service from local brands of the 1905 Family Of Restaurants, including offerings from Columbia Restaurant, Ulele and Casa Santo Stefano.
