Revolutionary Mile
The Revolutionary Mile is a team-based running and walking event held in downtown Trenton. The course runs through the city's historic core and starts at S. Warren and W. Front Streets. The route is about 1.5 miles long and passes cobblestone streets, landmarks, and heritage sites marked by yellow umbrellas.
The event offers two participation formats:
- 1.55 Miles, team running event
- Historic Footsteps, guided walking route with storytelling prompts
Companies and organizations participate by creating teams. Each company designates at least one team captain to coordinate team communication and logistics. Individuals may join existing organizational teams. The running format scores teams by combined times; the walking format follows the same route at a reflective pace with discovery points highlighting Trenton history.
A registration fee of $30 is listed for participants. Each participant receives a $10 gift card valid at participating downtown Trenton businesses. The event is presented with a focus on civic and community engagement and is intended for organization-based teams such as corporate groups, schools, and local government offices.
