New Jersey Triathlon
The New Jersey Triathlon is scheduled for July 19, 2026 at Mercer County Park in New Jersey. The event offers multiple race distances and takes place on a course routed through the park and around Mercer Lake.
Distances include:
- Sprint: 500 m swim, 22 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic: 1,500 m swim, 40.5 km bike, 10 km run
The course begins with a swim in Mercer Lake, continues on a fast bike route, and finishes with a shaded run through Mercer County Park. Organizers note the event features one of the faster, flatter course profiles among triathlons in the nation.
Since its inception in 2006 the race has annually sold out to about 3,500 triathletes and is listed among the larger triathlons in the United States. A SuperSprint distance is also offered by the event.
After the race a Finish Line Festival is open to athletes and spectators and includes snacks, drinks, and live music. Participants receive race timing, a medal, and a T shirt and can access an expo experience on race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
