New Jersey Triathlon
The New Jersey Triathlon takes place on July 19, 2026, at Mercer County Park with the swim in Mercer Lake. Organizers describe the course as fast and flat. The event has sold out to 3,500 triathletes annually since 2006 and is listed among the 10 largest triathlons in the nation. Course maps are provided based on Olympic distances; sprint maps are available separately.
Distances
- Sprint: 500 m swim, 21.7 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic: 1,500 m swim, 40.5 km bike, 10 km run
Both distances are offered in individual and relay formats.
Teams and event amenities
The event includes a Finish Line Festival with snacks, drinks, and live music open to athletes and spectators. Participants receive a medal, a T-shirt, and official timing; an expo is part of the event. Team racing is supported with tiered perks: a team discount for 10+ members; for 20+ members a free 10x10 tent or private port-a-potty; for 50+ members a tent and private port-a-potty; for 100+ members a tent plus two private port-a-potties.
