Race Information
The New Jersey Triathlon takes place annually on July 19, at Mercer County Park. It has been held since 2006 and is described as one of the 10 largest triathlons in the United States. It has been voted as one of the top five best triathlons in the country. The race typically sells out to 3,500 participants.
Distances
The event offers two distances:
- Sprint: A 500m swim, a 21.7km bike, and a 5km run.
- Olympic: A 1,500m swim, a 40.5km bike, and a 10km run.
Both distances are available for individual competitors and relay teams. The course is noted for being one of the fastest and flattest in the nation.
Course Details
The race starts with a swim in Mercer Lake. The subsequent bike and run segments take place on a fast, flat course through the park, with the run described as shaded.
