New Jersey Triathlon
The New Jersey Triathlon is scheduled for July 19, 2026 at Mercer County Park, with a swim in Mercer Lake followed by a bike course the organizer describes as fast and flat and a shaded run through the park. The event has sold out to about 3,500 triathletes annually since 2006 and is listed among the 10 largest triathlons in the nation.
Distances offered include:
- Sprint: 500 m swim, 21.7 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic: 1,500 m swim, 40.5 km bike, 10 km run
Both individual and relay entries are available. Course maps provided on the event pages are based on Olympic distances; Sprint maps are available separately. Participants receive timing, a medal, and a T-shirt, and an expo experience is part of the race weekend. The event concludes with a Finish Line Festival open to athletes and spectators featuring snacks, drinks, live music, and a postrace gathering in the park.
