Souper Bowl 5K

The Souper Bowl 5K takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Philadelphia, PA (10990 Decatur Rd, 19154). The event is a 5K run on a shorter version of the NorFEAST 4 Miler course. The route runs along the Northeast Philadelphia Airport bike path with a turnaround near Avalon Street along Academy Road.

Race services, awards and extras

Packet pick-up and late registration are held inside Northeast SkateZone. Bathroom facilities are indoors. The first 250 registrants receive a commemorative soup mug. Soup at the finish will be a tomato bouillon with a chicken stock base and Alphabet Soup pasta; there are no substitutes for vegans or people with wheat allergies.

A themed medal will be given to finishers. Gridiron-themed awards will be presented to the top three men and women overall and in these age groups: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60+ women; 60-69 men; 70+ men. Age groups may be altered depending on registration. Additional prizes include $100 runBUCKS CrackedBell gift cards for the first man and woman wearing the winning team’s official colors on race day.

Northeast SkateZone offers a post-race public skate at a reduced group price of $13 per person. The race director may alter, shorten, or reschedule the course due to weather or unsafe conditions.
