About the race
Revolution Run takes place on July 3, 2027, on the Wabash Trace Trail in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The start and finish are at the Wabash Trace Trailhead, 4102 Harry Langdon Blvd, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.

All three distances use out-and-back courses on the Wabash Trace Trail. Aid stations are located approximately every mile and provide water and Gatorade. The event uses professional chip timing and includes an official race shirt, a finisher medal, and overall and age-group awards. The published time limit for the course is 4 hours and there is a course cutoff at 11:00 PM.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race day at the start/finish area. The pre-race packet pickup location is Peak Performance - Bellevue at 3512 Samson Way, Suite 212, Bellevue, NE 68123.
Registration policies note that refunds will not be issued. Registrations may be deferred until June 26, 2027; deferral requests received after that date cannot be accommodated. If a participant cannot attend, the organizer can mail the race shirt and medal for a $10 shipping fee. Active-duty military members and veterans receive a 15% registration discount with verification. The event is scheduled to be held rain or shine but may be canceled or postponed if conditions present a safety risk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
