Omaha Costco Marathon, Omaha NE
The Omaha Costco Marathon is a community organized 26.2 miles road run held on December 12, 2026, with start and finish at the Costco on W Dodge Rd (12300 W Dodge Rd, Omaha, NE 68514). This is the third annual edition and the course links three Costco locations in the Omaha area: the Dodge location, the La Vista warehouse (12515 Portside Pkwy), and the NW Omaha warehouse (17701 Evans St).
The route includes five aid stations and three Costco stops. Aid station locations are noted along the course at approximately 5.5, 10, 15, 17.7, and 22 miles, including spots on the Papio Trail and near Pacific Meadows Park. The event supplies snack items and drinks at aid points, including Kirkland applesauce pouches, cookies, mini muffins, peanut butter pretzels, Little Debbie Christmas Trees, water, Gatorade, hot chocolate, coffee, and hand warmers.
Registration is free; donations are encouraged to cover supplies for aid stations and any surplus will be given to the Food Bank of Omaha. The event is not organized by a professional race company: there is no official timing, awards, or race swag. There will be no course marking, so runners are encouraged to review the route and download the course maps available on Strava, Garmin, or the event’s interactive map.
