Omaha Costco Marathon
The Omaha Costco Marathon is scheduled for December 12, 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska. The event is organized by local runners and follows a 26.2 mile route that connects three Costco locations in the city, with the start and finish at the Costco on West Dodge Road (12300 W Dodge Rd, Omaha, NE 68514).
The course includes five aid stations and three Costco stops. Aid stations are planned at approximately 5.5, 10, 15, 17.7 and 22 miles; Costco stops occur near 7.7 miles, about 20 miles, and at the start/finish. Course maps are available on Strava and Garmin and an interactive map has been provided by the organizer. The route is not marked on course, so participants are advised to review the route and consider downloading it to a watch or phone.
Registration is free; donations are encouraged to purchase water, Gatorade, hand warmers, and snacks for aid stations. Any surplus donated funds will be given to the Food Bank of Omaha. There will be no official timing, awards, or race swag; the event is described as a large organized group run rather than a professionally sanctioned race.
