Reston Sprint Triathlon
The Reston Sprint Triathlon is an annual multisport event held in Reston, Virginia. The 20th edition takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 11601 Lake Newport Road, Reston, VA 20194. The event program lists a Sprint Triathlon, an Aquathon, and a Sprint Relay. Events are open to ages 13 and older.
Distances for the sprint format include:
- 400-meter swim in Lake Newport pool.
- 12 mile bike ride on the streets of Reston.

A Health and Wellness Fair is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the Lake Newport pool parking lot. The organizer also runs an in-person Monthly Meetup series beginning in February; meetups provide opportunities to meet the event leadership team, access training resources, and participate in raffles. After the race, a post-race beer garden is provided on site for participants and guests.
