Event overview
The 17th Annual Resolution Run to Kick Cancer is a 5K event in Lexington, Massachusetts on January 10, 2026. The in-person race starts and finishes in front of Lexington High School, Field House, at 251 Waltham Street. The event is USATF sanctioned and chip timed. Walkers are welcome. Awards will be given to in-person top three males and females, top three male and female cancer patients/survivors, top three teams, and age-group winners. A long-sleeve technical t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by December 18, 2025.

The virtual 5K may be run or walked anywhere between January 10 and January 18, 2026. Virtual participants receive a digital bib by email and will be given instructions for submitting self-timed results. A technical t-shirt will be mailed after the event to virtual U.S. participants who register by December 18, 2025 and provide a correct mailing address.
Logistics and other information
Advance packet pickup is offered at Marathon Sports in Lexington the day before the race; race-day packet pickup is at Lexington High School Field House. Parking is available in the high school lots and specified nearby lots and streets; some local lots are restricted. As a USATF-sanctioned race, dogs and bikes are not allowed on the course or in the school; strollers must line up behind runners and walkers. The event raises funds for cancer research and patient support programs; 2025 proceeds supported specific cancer research and support funds.
