About the race
The Reservoir View fell race on 27 July 2027 is an evening midweek fell race in the South/West Pennines, held as race 11 of 13 in the Accrington fell and trail series. The course is a new, shorter midweek-friendly route of 8 km (5 miles) with approximately 275 m (902 ft) of climb. The race carries a BS category and has a Permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
Registration and parking are at Accrington Cricket Club, Thorneyhome Road, BB5 5BB (grid reference SD 76959 29092). The start is a 10-minute walk from registration; participants are asked not to park at the start or finish. Presentation takes place in the clubhouse after the race.
Entry is available on the day for £7.00 and by pre-entry for £5.00; pre-entry is handled via Bookitzone. Teams are allowed. There are no junior races and the minimum age is 16. The event lists skills as PM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
