Rescue Me 5K
The Rescue Me 5K is a fundraising run/walk in Lincoln, New Hampshire, benefitting Lakes Region Search and Rescue (LRSAR), a non-profit, all-volunteer organization formed in 2019 to assist New Hampshire Fish & Game with wilderness search and rescue missions in the Southern White Mountains and Lakes Region.
The event offers both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K. Registration opens on 2026-05-15 and closes on 2026-11-06. Registered finishers receive a custom finisher's medal; virtual participants will not receive a shirt or medal.
The in-person course starts and finishes at Basecamp Brewing, 25 South Mountain Drive, Lincoln, and is described as flat. Race day bib pickup is available at Burgeon Outdoors. Day-of registration and raffle tickets are handled on site. Parking is listed at Price Chopper, 10 Paper Mill Drive, Lincoln.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers; recipients should be present to receive awards unless other arrangements are made in advance. The virtual 5K may be completed anytime between 2026-11-08 and 2026-11-15, with results submitted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
