Remington Turkey Trot 5K Race and Walk
The event is a community 5K run and walk held on November 21, 2026 at MM Pierce Elementary School, 12074 James Madison St, Remington VA 22734. The format includes both a timed race and a recreational walk and is open to a range of ages.
Registration opens August 31 and closes November 14. Entry fees are listed by age group: $15 for 10 and under; $25 for the following age groups 11-15, 15-21, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61 plus. Race day online registration will be available.
Awards and recognition include gift cards for the overall top three male and top three female finishers. Additional awards will be given to the top three male and top three female racers in each age group. A commemorative medal and a beanie will be available for the first 250 race registrants.
Practical information provided by the organizer notes that the event will take place rain or shine. No dogs or pets are allowed on race day. Parking is available in the grass lot behind the school and not in the school parking lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
