2026 Race the Landing 5K New Years Day Pajama Run - Recycle, Reuse and Renew

The event takes place on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Charles Towne Landing, 1500 Old Towne Rd, Charleston, SC 29407. It features multiple family-focused events and a focus on recycling race apparel and awards.

Kid's fun run - $20
Kids 5K (open to ages 12 and under) - $25

Registration closes December 31, 2025. Packet pickup begins race day at 7:30 AM and gates close at 8:30 AM. Awards are given in five-year age groups and extend five deep. The organizer will reuse shirts and awards from various races. Post-race food includes soup and cornbread options (Hoppin John or Vegetable). The event policy states there are no transfers or refunds and the organizer may bar or disqualify runners for cause. Sponsors are acknowledged by the event.
