Event overview
The Reindeer Run takes place on Saturday evening, 28 November 2026, near Glenelg, South Australia. The event uses a 2.5 km loop along the river, located a few hundred metres from the main Glenelg area. Distances longer than 2.5 km are run as multiple loops.

Course and on-course services
There is one aid station on course, located at the start/finish of each loop and therefore passed every 2.5 km. The aid station provides water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, and first aid. The start/finish line is at the end of Anderson Ave, near Glenelg Baseball Club.
Race procedures and special services
Bib collection is available only on the day of the event. A simplified race briefing for people with English as a second language is offered before the event. Early starts and late starts are available under the event's stated conditions.
Fees, medals, charity, and policies
An optional medal is free for distances of 21.1 km and over and costs $13 for shorter distances; personalisation is extra. The event donates $5 from each registration to Northern Adelaide Domestic Violence Services. Refunds are generally only available for cancellations more than 28 days before the event, unless refund protection was purchased. The organiser may reschedule events for bad weather; bad weather insurance is offered for full refunds in that case. All events have a cut-off at 6am.
