Reindeer Run for Mary's Place
The event takes place on December 12, 2026 at Bryan Square at the Savannah Convention Center, 1 International Dr, Savannah, GA. It raises funds for Mary's Place and its Prevention Education program, which provides training for schools, colleges, and community organizations in the Coastal Empire.
Distances include:
- 5 Miles - Reindeer Run 8K
- 1 Mile - Reindeer Run 1 Miler
- 0.5 Miles - Kiddie Run / Diaper Dash
Registration details from the organizer include early and increased fees: the 5 Mile entry is $35 before 12/6 and $40 through 12/10; the 1 Mile entry is $25 before 12/6 and $30 through 12/10. The Kiddie Run and Diaper Dash are complimentary for ages 10 and under. Individual event registration opens in August and closes in early December according to each race listing. All registered racers receive a race medal and a t-shirt; registration by 11/15 is recommended to receive the event's custom design.
Event logistics note that jogging strollers or strollers are welcome in most races, participants above certain ages require a registered bib, and pets are not permitted. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best costume and for winners in the children’s age categories. Parking at the Savannah Convention Center lots requires a $10 fee paid via QR code.
Bib pick-up is available Friday 10:00am-6:00pm at Fleet Feet Savannah, 3405 Waters Ave, and race day pick-up 7:15am-7:45am in Exhibit Hall A of the Savannah Trade and Convention Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
