About the race
The Reindeer Run for Mary’s Place is a seasonal community run in Savannah, held at Bryan Square at the Savannah Trade and Convention Center on December 12, 2026. The event supports Mary’s Place Prevention Education program and the organization’s mission of envisioning a culture free of violence.
Race options include:
- 5 miles open to runners and walkers
- 1 mile run/walk
- 0.5 miles Kiddie Run and Diaper Dash
Registration and fees are listed with early and late levels: the 5 mile registration is $35 before 12/6 and increases to $40 until 12/10; the 1 mile is $25 before 12/6 and increases to $30 until 12/10. The Kiddie Run and Diaper Dash are complimentary for ages 10 and under. All registered racers receive a race medal and a t-shirt; registrants should sign up by 11/15 to receive the event’s custom t-shirt design.
Event details note that jogging strollers are welcome, pets are not permitted, and certain age rules apply for bibs: older children require registered bibs and the Diaper Dash is for very young children. Prizes will be awarded for winners in age categories for the Kiddie Run and Diaper Dash. Parking is paid via QR codes at the convention center lots for $10. Bib pick-up is available the Friday before at Fleet Feet Savannah at 3405 Waters Ave and on race day in Exhibit Hall A. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
