The Giving Thanks for a Cure is a 5k road race held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Rincon, Georgia. The event takes place at the Effingham YMCA, 1224 Patriot Drive, Rincon GA 31326. Course and logistics
The course starts by the YMCA pool, runs to Wiley's Furniture, crosses railroad tracks, passes through a neighborhood and follows an out-and-back route. Packet pickup is available at the YMCA Youth Gym the evening before the race and on race morning. Registered participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after November 1.
