Event
The MT. TAMMANY 10 is an ultramarathon held in the Delaware Water Gap, New Jersey, on March 21, 2026. The course length is an almost 40.0 mile looped route with over 10,000 ft of cumulative elevation gain. Registration for the event closes on Wednesday, March 18 at 11:59 PM ET.
Course and format
The Start/Finish is at the Kittatinny Parking Lot Pavilion. Runners go to the Dunnfield parking lot, take the Red-Dot trail to the summit of Mt. Tammany, then follow the blue-blaze trail for about 1/2 mile before turning left to descend Mt. Tammany. After descending, runners cross the river and use the Appalachian Trail for about 1/3 mile to return to the Dunnfield Parking Lot. The route described above is repeated for a total of ten loops. Runners must return to the Start/Finish Pavilion for check-in and loop verification at the end of every 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th loop. Aid will be posted in the Dunnfield Parking Area.
