Rehab Reindeer Run
The Rehab Reindeer Run is the 13th annual 5k hosted by Minden Medical Center Rehab Services in Minden, Louisiana on December 4, 2026. The event routes participants through the Ridgewood neighborhood at night to view Christmas lights and ties into the Christmas in Minden weekend.
The course distance is 3.1 Miles. Participants may enter individually or register as part of a team. A prize is awarded to the largest team.
Registration opens September 24, 2026. Early registration is $30 through November 20, 2026 and includes a long sleeve Rehab Reindeer Run T shirt for those who register by midnight on November 20. Registration after November 21 through race day is $35. A student price of $25 applies for ages 18 and under at all times. Payments may be made by credit card online or by cash, check, or card at the MMC Business Office at 346 Homer Road in Minden or at Sportspectrum in Shreveport at 6970 Fern Avenue.
The course begins at MMC Outpatient Physical Therapy, 1120 Homer Road, proceeds onto Southridge Drive and through Ridgewood via Ridgewood Circle twice, and returns to MMC Outpatient Physical Therapy.
Packet pickup is available Thursday December 3, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MMC Outpatient Therapy 1120 Homer Road, and on Race Day from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. before the race.
Male and female awards are given in age groups 12 and under, 13 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over, plus overall first place male and female. Post race refreshments and awards are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
