Event Details

The Reentry Resource Center’s Rise Up and Run is a 5 km run and walk. The event is hosted by the County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center and partners to raise money. The funds support immediate needs for justice-involved people, such as clothing, food, hygiene, and transportation.

Location and Format

The in-person event takes place at Hellyer County Park in San Jose. There is also a virtual option. Participants choosing the virtual format can complete the 5 km distance on a day and time of their choice between October 17 and October 31, 2026.

Participant Information

Participants receive a race shirt and a medal. Packet pickup information will be announced later. Parking is noted at the Cottonwood and Buena Vista Group Areas of Hellyer County Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
