Reel N Chill 5K Wine Run
The Reel N Chill 5K is scheduled for May 2, 2026 at Hidden Vineyard in Dobson, North Carolina. The event is organized as a vineyard stomp run and walk that routes participants through the vines and along a wooded trail, with the course culminating at a climb known as Survivor Hill.
The course configuration and options include:
- 5K, two laps of the vineyard and wooded trail
- 2.5K, one lap of the course
- Steps of Hope walk, through the vines and up Survivor Hill, omitting the wooded trail
Each participant receives a t-shirt, a race packet, and a finisher medal. Participants aged 21 and over receive a complimentary wine pour. A food truck will be on site offering breakfast and lunch options. Registrants who enroll by April 5 are guaranteed a race shirt while supplies last.
The event benefits Fishin' for a Cure. Registered runners may make an additional donation or choose to fundraise to support awareness and research related to women's cancers. Teams that raise over $250 receive a complimentary bottle of wine on event day.
Awards include a bottle of wine for the fastest male and female overall, age group medals for the top two in listed age divisions, and merchandise choices for the youngest and oldest 5K finishers.
