Event Overview
The Reel N Chill Wine Run is a vineyard stomp run and walk located at Hidden Vineyard in Dobson, NC. The event takes place on a two-lap course that leads participants through the grapevines and along a wooded trail, concluding with a climb up Survivor Hill.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 5 km (Two laps of the vineyard and trail course)
- 2.5 km (One lap of the vineyard and trail course)
- Steps of Hope (A walk through the vines and up Survivor Hill, excluding the wooded trail)
Amenities and Awards
Registered participants receive a t-shirt and a race packet. Every finisher in all events is presented with a commemorative medal. For those aged 21 and over, a complimentary wine pour is available after the race. An on-site food truck provides various breakfast and lunch options during the event.
Awards are presented for the 5 km race, including bottles of wine for the fastest overall male and female finishers. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in age categories ranging from 15-20 to 80+. Special recognition is also given to the youngest and oldest finishers, as well as the best-dressed individual and team.
Social Impact
The event supports Fishin' for a Cure, an organization dedicated to cancer awareness and research. Participants are encouraged to wear pink attire to support those battling breast cancer.
