Rhoades McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon / Duathlon
The Rhoades McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon / Duathlon is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026 at John Collins Park in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Event services are provided by Classic Race Management. The event uses sprint distances and offers multiple race formats on the same day.
Distances for the sprint formats include:
- Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Duathlon: 5 km run, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- AquaBike: 750 m swim, 20 km bike
- Relay: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
Age-group divisions are specified for both triathlon and duathlon. Triathlon divisions for men and women include 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and up. Duathlon divisions for men and women include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
A course tour video is available. Awards and post-race refreshments will be provided in Gerken Plaza at the East Grand Rapids football stadium. Future scheduled race dates listed by the organizer include September 11, 2027; September 9, 2028; September 8, 2029; and September 7, 2030.
