Red White & Blue Festival 5K
Presented by the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, this event is a 5K held on the ASU Campus in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at 1600 S College St. Packet pickup takes place on race day and on-site paper registration is accepted; paper registrants will not receive a t-shirt. The published registration fee is $30.00 and online registration opens and closes on the dates provided by the organizer.
The course starts in front of The Sheid and finishes at the Keller Fountain in the center of campus. Runners enter the ASUMH walking path around mile 0.2, complete one lap that passes the aid station, then continue for a second lap to return to the center of campus. One aid station is located at the halfway point and provides Gatorade and water. Timing is chip based and recorded from the gun start. Postrace snacks are provided.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, plus three deep age group awards in the following divisions: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Volunteers and signage guide runners along the course and back to the Keller Fountain finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
