Cotter Bridge Ultra : Cotter, Arkansas

Cotter Bridge Ultra is a timed trail event held at Big Springs Park in Cotter, Arkansas on June 13, 2026. The race uses an hourly lap format: every hour runners complete a 4.1667 mile loop and must finish each lap in under one hour to remain in the event. The event offers four race selections that correspond to the hour on which a runner will compete for place.

Winners are determined by the first finisher on each designated hot lap. Runners choose one result at registration and receive that single official finishing result even if they run extra laps. No early or late starts are allowed, runners must be on the start line before the whistle, and laps must be completed under the runner's own power. Pacers and on-course item stashing are not permitted. Each runner may set up a personal aid or crew tent near the start on a first come, first serve basis.

The course is a mostly flat, straight out-and-back on a 2.08 mile multi-use trail with fine crushed gravel and minimal technical features, following the White River. Elevation gain is about 15 feet per mile, concentrated in one small hill. Water and basic nutrition are available at the pavilion; meals are provided to runners at hours six and twelve. Custom laser engraved awards are given. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
