David's Trail Endurance Run - Mountain Home, Arkansas
David's Trail Endurance Run takes place on February 27, 2027, on trails along Lake Norfork near Mountain Home, Arkansas. The event uses single-track and double-track trails through the Ozarks and is organized around David's Trail routes that pass Robinson Point, Panther Bay, and Bidwell parks.
Course options include multiple distances and substantial elevation gain. The 25K route covers more than 2,500 feet of climbing and the 50K covers more than 5,000 feet. Aid stations are present, but the event is cupless: participants must carry their own handheld or reservoir or use a personal HydraPak Speed Cup. Post-race plates and cups are not provided by the organizer.
Weekend logistics center on Rocking Chair Resort, which hosts the start and finish area and offers on-site lodging; other nearby lodging options are noted by the organizer. The trail system has undergone maintenance and rerouting; records are maintained separately for periods before and after those changes. Cash purses have been offered for course records in some years, with an exception noted for the redesigned 2026 50K course.
