Red Rock Balloon Fest 5k/10k
The event offers two distances on an asphalt bike trail near Pella, Iowa. The course for both races is primarily out and back. The 10k includes a small grassy loop near the first mile. The 5k is organized as a fun run and walk with a family friendly approach. The 10k race is open to all runners.
This event is a fundraiser for the Knoxville, Pella, and Pella Christian Cross Country Teams. It is held in conjunction with the Lake Red Rock Balloon Fest. Location details are 1007 Hwy T15, Pella, Iowa 50219. The event date is July 11, 2026.

Entry fees vary by registration timing. Standard registration was $25 with a higher day of fee. A group rate for four or more was available at a reduced per person fee for advance registration with a higher per person fee on the day of the event. Each runner who registered by June 20 received a running t shirt. Packet pick up is available the day of the race and race day walk ins are welcome with a walk up cutoff.
