Red Lodge Event's Turkey Trot
Red Lodge Event's Turkey Trot is a free, family and dog friendly run/walk held at the Rodeo Grounds in Red Lodge, Montana on 11/26/2026. The event uses a marked course that follows a double out-and-back layout.
The course distances available include:
- 3 miles on a double out-and-back course
- 1.5 miles as a half trot option on the same course
All participants must be registered to participate. Registration may be completed online or in person on event day so participants are covered under event insurance; registration applies to babies and toddlers as well. There is no registration fee.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a leash. Dog owners must sign a dog waiver on race day. Dogs are not allowed inside. Strollers are permitted; participants are advised to consider weather and tire suitability for their stroller.
Weather can vary; organizers note conditions may be warm or cold. Online donations are accepted and will be distributed with a 90/10 split to BareTooth Cupboards and Beartooth Humane Alliance.
