Fun Run for Charities - Red Lodge
The Annual Fun Run for Charities takes place on September 5, 2026, at Lions Park in Red Lodge, Montana. The event features three running events that use roads and neighborhood streets around downtown Red Lodge and finish at Lions Park.
Course details:
- 2 Miles : a casual loop through downtown and nearby neighborhoods on paved road.
- 3.1 Miles (5K) : a course that begins in historic downtown, weaves through local neighborhoods, and finishes in Lions Park.
- 6.2 Miles (10K) : starts in downtown, heads south through neighborhoods and along US 212, includes views of the mouth of the Beartooth Pass, turns around at Perry's RV, and returns to Lions Park.
Registration for all events is free and is open from June 1, 2026 to September 5, 2026. T-shirt and bib pickup is available on September 3 and September 4 at 122 S Hauser Ave in Red Lodge, and also on the event day at Lions Park. Prizes are awarded to overall and age-category winners. Additional awards include Best Individual Costume, Best Group Costume, and Best Dog Costume. All participants receive a Fun Run T-shirt.
The event supports multiple local charities; 67 charities are listed as participating. Over the last 22 years the event has raised more than $4.9 million for charity, and the Sally Martin Match Fund is used to support all participating organizations.
