Fun Run for Charities : Red Lodge
The Annual Fun Run for Charities in Red Lodge is a Labor Day Weekend fundraising event that supports charitable organizations across Carbon County. The event takes place in historic downtown Red Lodge at Lions Park and involves community activities and race events. This edition will raise funds for dozens of local charities.

- 2-mile walk
- 5K run
- 10K run
Registration is free until the day of the event; day-of registration has a fee and children under six run free. Participants of all ages are welcome and dogs on six foot leashes may join. The 5K and 10K races are timed and qualify for placement prizes. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in each age and gender category, and additional awards include Best Individual Costume, Best Group Costume, and Best Dog Costume.
Event activities include charity booths, face-painting, pony rides, and food provided by the Lions Club. Each participating charity receives 100 percent of the donations it raises through the Fun Run, and donations may be increased through the Sally Martin Match Fund. In 2025 the 22nd Annual Fun Run raised $470,566 for 63 Carbon County charities, and the event has raised more than $4.2 million for nonprofits to date.
