Red Coyote Runtoberfest 5K - Oklahoma City
The Red Coyote Runtoberfest 5K is scheduled for October 4, 2026 in Oklahoma City at 421 NW 10th St. The event includes a 5K Run, a 5K Pushchair category, a 5K Virtual Run option, and volunteer opportunities. The race is presented by Red Coyote with partners including COOP Aleworks, Brooks Running, and Fassler Hall.
The course is a gently rolling 5K / 3.1 mile loop through historic Heritage Hills that starts and finishes in front of Fassler Hall. The route is described as stroller friendly. For the current year a construction-related alternate route runs west to Walker Avenue and then north to the usual loop, with access to the east and Hudson Avenue blocked.
Packet pick up is at the Red Coyote Oklahoma City store at 5720 N Classen. On-site pick up is available the day of the event beginning early afternoon, but pre-race pick up is scheduled the Friday and Saturday before the race. Red Coyote uses MyLaps bib tag timing with live online results; participants can view and download a custom finisher certificate and event photos are provided by an event photography partner.
Girls on the Run of Central Oklahoma is the event beneficiary partner; their programs aim to build confidence, kindness, and decision making skills and highlight the connection between physical and emotional health. Pets are welcome on leash with cleanup supplies and staged to the side or back at the start area. Event parking and access may be affected by midtown construction.
