Revenge of the Red Baron Half Marathon and 5K
The Revenge of the Red Baron celebrates its 44th year in 2026, offering road races through the landscape surrounding Corning Community College. Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 5 km (Running race)
The event is held at the SUNY Corning Community College campus at 1 Academic Drive in Corning, New York. Both races start and finish on the college grounds. The half marathon has a strictly enforced time limit of 4 hours. All participants are monitored via chip timing, with results published online the same day as the competition.
Bib pick-up and registration services are located within the Commons at the college. After crossing the finish line, participants receive a custom finisher medal. The venue hosts an in-person awards ceremony following the conclusion of the races, where prizes are given to the top overall male and female winners, as well as the first-place finishers in various age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over.
A post-race celebration takes place in the Commons, where food is provided for the athletes, including vegetarian-friendly options. Parking is available on-site in the designated Corning Community College parking lots. The organization operates a no-refund, no-deferral, and no-credit policy for registrations.
