Recovery Run of the Rockies 5K
The Recovery Run of the Rockies 5K is scheduled for September 5, 2026 on Fossil Creek Parkway in Fort Collins, Colorado. The event is organized by Lighthouse and is presented as the fourth annual edition.
The event features a professionally timed 5K run/walk along routes in Fossil Creek Park. Live music from an event DJ will be on site, and a free Lions Club pancake breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. Raffle prizes will be offered, and gift cards are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. The atmosphere includes community partners, sponsor booths, and activities for a range of ages. Strollers, children, and leashed dogs are welcome.
Registration information is provided for the event. Registration opens July 7, 2026 and closes August 5, 2026, with a registration fee of $30. Proceeds support Lighthouse programs that provide safe, affordable community-based supportive housing, peer support, case management, employment services, and a recovery community for people experiencing homelessness and recovering from addiction.
